Dr Paul Francis Mclean

Dr McLean received his primary medical qualification from the University of Dundee, Scotland. He also received a BSc in Medical Sciences in Surgery & Anaesthesia at Imperial College London. He has a strong interest in medical research and completed Academic Foundation Training in East London before starting Core Surgical Training in West London. He later joined the City & Hackney VTS programme where he trained to become a GP. Recognising his connection to the area and its community, he has remained in Hackney as a fully qualified GP.
Dr McLean is passionate about medical education and helps teach medical students about community medicine. He is the GP Mental Health Lead for the local area as well as the LGBTQ and HIV champion at our practice.
