Previous Minutes
- PH and FA gave an update on website suggestions and comments tab requested by the PPG.
Welcome
- Henry Jones welcomed everyone at the meeting, minutes of the meeting discussed.
Practice Update
- Welcomed to new GP’s Dr Priyesh Parekh and Dr Caroline Kennedy.
- One year anniversary of our online platform Klinik in October.
- Practice Manager one year anniversary was in October.
Patient experience
- The Patient Participation Group (PPG) has informed us that patients would like to be informed when an appointment is scheduled with a Physician Associate rather than a GP.
- Eleanor PPG member discussed continuity for all patients, examples were given and action points for the practice to investigate and bring back to the next meeting. Danny was very pleased with continuity of care she and her family receive from the practice.
- Jo was happy to share how she manages to keep up with her future dates
Together Better
- Kelley provided a brief update on the Together Better group. She mentioned that more patients are attending the coffee mornings and activities, which is a positive development. Kelley also inquired about attending a meeting to encourage staff to refer patients, as she has not been receiving many referrals from QBGP. Kelley to email Fozia Newsletter to upload onto the website.
PPG Funding
FA informed the PPG we have some funding for the practice and what would the group suggest. All suggestions to be emailed to FA. Please add to next PPG agenda.
A.O.B
- Patients are informed of new named GP.
- Patients are becoming more comfortable using the online platform. Vulnerable patients are given priority, and staff assist by filling out the online forms on their behalf.
- Eleanor discussed a letter from secondary care was acknowledge after 2 weeks by the practice. PH suggested Eleanor to have a list of examples we can discuss at the next PPG.
- FA to add ARRS roles to the website.
