Welcome
- Henry Jones welcomed everyone at the meeting, minutes of the meeting discussed.
Practice Update
- Patrick gave an update on recruitment. Staff turnover has been very low which is excellent news.
- We will soon be hiring a nurse to support Theresa who is currently the only nurse in the practice.
- The PPG was also informed that we are actively working to keep the website up to date. Plans are in place to add staff photos and bios soon.
Together Better
- Fozia informed the PPG that the website is being regularly updated with information and newsletters from the Together Better team, thank you to Kelley for her contributions.
- Kelley also shared that Together Better now has 46 patients signed up.
Patient experience
- Patrick updated the PPG on the positive Google reviews the practice has been receiving,
Funding
Fozia informed the PPG that funding has been approved, and the practice is now looking into installing CCTV, wallboards, and a BP/weight pod. If you have any other suggestions, please email Fozia.

- Patrick informed the PPG that ICB funding has been reduced.
- Henry discussed that funding will should not be controlled by NHS England.
- Fozia presented the latest Friends and Family Test (FFT) data.
- Patrick shared that the practice is now working to expand its patient list size.
- Denise asked Patrick to explain how the Duty Doctor triages online forms particularly in cases involving pain.
- Henry provided an update on Eleanor’s FAQs.
- Fozia will add Eleanor’s FAQs to the agenda for the next practice lunch for further discussion. Fozia
- Fozia to check on patient access whether it informs patients who their named GP is. Fozia
- Fozia to show a protocol on what happens when the practice receives a letter by a hospital. Fozia
- Fozia to investigate automatic text to be sent to patients when the practice receives their results. Fozia
